Description
Series Classification: Micro Pen Series (Precision Feedback) | Application: Robotics, Medical Devices, & Consumer Electronics
The Micro Pen Actuator is engineered for applications where high-grade performance is required within an extremely limited footprint. Measuring just 16mm (0.62") in diameter, this actuator offers a compact solution for concealing motion control inside consumer electronics, robotic grippers, or hidden panel mechanisms.
Precision Feedback: Unlike standard micro actuators, the Micro Pen Series features built-in Hall Effect Sensors. These sensors provide accurate positional feedback (360 pulses per revolution), enabling the use of advanced control loops for precise positioning or synchronization of multiple units. It also includes an integrated overload protection system to prevent burnout in the event of a structural jam.
System Integration
To synchronize two or more Micro Pen actuators to run at exactly the same speed, we recommend our FCB-1 Control Board. This controller reads the Hall Sensor feedback to lock the speed and position of multiple units, ensuring level movement regardless of load differences.
Engineered for Precision and Durability
The Micro Pen Series is constructed using high-grade components and assembled to exacting specifications. Designed by experienced engineers, these actuators offer robust, consistent performance, making them a dependable solution for demanding production requirements.
Advanced Performance Features
When accuracy is non-negotiable, the Micro Pen delivers. Equipped with Hall Effect Sensors, it provides exceptional positional feedback for precise control. Additionally, built-in Overload Protection minimizes the risk of mechanical failure, ensuring longevity even in challenging conditions.
Compact Dimensions, High Versatility
With a slender 16mm diameter, this actuator fits where others cannot. Despite its modest footprint, it delivers impressive power—offering forces up to 50N (11 lbs) and stroke lengths up to 100mm (3.9"). This density of power makes it the optimal choice for streamlining designs without sacrificing capability.
Ideal Applications
From complex robotics to high-end consumer electronics with hidden mechanisms, the Micro Pen Actuator is the go-to solution for detailed, high-accuracy movement. It is perfectly suited for operating flaps, panels, and precision adjustments in tight envelopes.
Synchronized Control
To synchronize two or more actuators to run at exactly the same speed, we recommend our FCB-1 Control Board. This provides ultimate control, allowing you to adjust limits, speed, and set timer functions for automated opening and closing sequences.
