Air brakes provide more stability for vehicles at high speeds. When deployed, the extra wing creates drag and downforce on the wheels, preventing a loss of control.

The first air brake on a Lamborghini was invented by our founder, Robbie Dickson, in 2002. Robbie noticed the car could go faster, but the aerodynamics would make him lose control if he tried; so Robbie invented and installed this: 



In this video, you can see the wing when it is installed, as well learning a bit of performance car design history. You can clearly see two Firgelli actuators and our 2CH-Remote system being used to deploy and retract the air wing. It goes to show that you can automate anything you want with Firgelli products.
